Offering satellite antenna services for establishment, hosting and maintenance, and data downlink, in addition to Telemetry Tracking & Command (TT&C) support, PrioraNet Canada’s focus is business opportunities related to ground stations in Canada.

Jointly formed by Spatial Holdings Inc., a Canadian company, and the Swedish Space Corporation in 2009, PrioraNet Canada’s initial venture is the establishment of a satellite station location near Inuvik, NWT. The station is uniquely positioned for reception from polar orbiting satellites.

The Inuvik Satellite Station forms part of the global station network PrioraNet that provides near-global coverage of satellites in any Earth orbit. PrioraNet is the largest commercial network of ground stations for satellite communications in the world.
